Who we are…
We are an active group of biking enthusiasts who enjoy getting the most out of our roads, our riding and our motorcycles.
Our group not only offer advanced level training to all eligible members but we have an active social scene with regular ride-outs, tours and social events throughout the year. See our Events page.
We aim to help our members develop their motorcycling abilities and to provide them with skills to avoid becoming just another road accident statistic.
You might be new to biking (with an A1, A2 or A licence), or are returning to bikes after a break and want to brush up on your skills. Maybe you are an experienced rider looking to get rid of a few old/bad habits, or perhaps you've have had a near miss and want to know how to prevent another. All are excellent reasons to join our group.
We have a committed group of experienced volunteer Tutors available who provide advanced motorcycle training. Many of our Tutors have had several years experience in both basic and advanced training including DSA CBT instructors. See our Tutoring Page.
Training consists of practical riding training and advanced riding theory based on RoSPA's guidelines and "Roadcraft", the police advanced riding system.
If you want to sit the RoSPA advanced rider test, preparation is essential and the process both challenging and enjoyable.
Passing the RoSPA advanced riding test comes with a real sense of achievement and equips you with essential skills for life.
Why not give it a try? Our group (members, tutors and committee) will all make you feel very welcome.
